WOOL

Mother Nature is our muse. Building on her handiwork, we’re finding new uses for materials that exist right in front of us. Like wool from merino sheep, who have the best hair in nature.

But even great locks need a trim from time to time. With fibers that are 20% the diameter of human hair, our superfine merino wool is breathable, temperature-regulating, and moisture-wicking, all without that irritating scratchiness.

Inspired by the Flock

In New Zealand, sheep outnumber humans about six to one. Thanks to their wool, our process uses 60% less energy than materials used in typical synthetic shoes.

CASTOR BEAN OIL

Castor bean oil helps us increase the natural content in our insoles. Lean, bean, comfort machines.

Recycled Cardboard

RECYCLED CARDBOARD

Our packaging is made from 90% recycled cardboard. Because every box deserves a second chance.

TREE

Mother Nature is our muse. Building on her handiwork, we’re finding new uses for materials that exist right in front of us. Like trees, rockstars of the forest.

Thanks to their fiber and a clean closed-loop process, we have a naturally-derived, renewable material that’s much easier on the environment than traditional fabrics. Did we mention it’s also comfortable, breathable, and silky-smooth?

Rooted in Sustainability

Our Tree fiber—TENCEL™ Lyocell—is mainly sourced from wood grown in South Africa. The cultivation relies on natural rainfall, which means there’s no need for artificial irrigation and fertilizers. Compared to traditional materials, TENCEL™️ Lyocell uses 95% less water than conventional cotton and has a carbon footprint that is one-third lower than virgin nylon.

FSC® Certification

Forest Stewardship Council® certification means we source materials that meet strict standards to protect forests, and the animals and people who depend on them.

BIO-TPU

Our eyelets are created thanks to unique microorganisms that consume plant sugars. Science is sweet.

SUGAR

Mother Nature is our muse. Building on her handiwork, we’re finding new uses for materials that exist right in front of us. Like sugarcane—one sustainable sweetheart.

It’s so self-sufficient, in fact, that when it’s processed, its biomass is extracted to literally power the mill and fertilize the next year’s crop. When we transform it into our SweetFoam® shoe sole, it contours to your feet for bouncy comfort that lets you let loose.

Nature’s Sweetest Offering

The sugarcane used to make SweetFoam® is sourced from southern Brazil, where it relies on rainwater, not irrigation. It’s a fully renewable resource that grows quickly, removing carbon from the atmosphere in the process.

Responsibly Sourced

Our sugarcane is sourced to rigorous standards that protect people and the environment. These standards were jointly developed by Proforest and Braskem, and the farms are audited by a third party.

Trino®

Mother Nature is our muse. Building on her handiwork, we’re finding new uses for materials that exist right in front of us. Like Trino® and TrinoXO™, nature’s super-yarns.

When we couldn’t find yarns that met our standards of ultimate comfort and sustainability, we invented our own. First, we combined the incredible properties of our renewable materials Tree + Merino (Trino®, get it?) for a soft, breathable fiber. And then we evolved it to create TrinoXO™ (like an exoskeleton – we’re on a roll, right?), equipped with natural odor-reducing properties. Smells like a win-win.

Knit From Nature

We crafted Trino® from a hefty serving of responsibly harvested eucalyptus tree fibers and a handful of ZQ Merino wool. Working hand-in-hand with our fiber producers, yarn spinners, and textile makers, we made sure our high quality knit was sustainably sourced from top to toe.

Recycled Nylon

We popped in a dash of recycled nylon—it keeps old nylon out of landfills, gives it new life, and boosts our knit’s durability. Another person’s treasure? You bet.

TrinoXO™

TrinoXO™ is the first everyday apparel fabric to use pure chitosan fiber, a natural odor-fighter harvested from discarded snow crab shells and the number two most abundant biopolymer on earth.
